Fitness Friday #14 – Getting So Very Close

When I started the draft of this post in the beginning of the week it was titled “When Will I Cross the Finish Line?!” but then I wrote this post about keeping myself accountable, and everything changed.

I mean it, everything changed, and I was able to get that fire back that I had during my first few weeks on Weight Watchers. And it paid off! In all honesty, the first two days were hard, and I was kind of a shit to everyone. But by day three, I was all smiles, and feeling right back on track.

Here’s how the week shaped up:

Weight Loss

3 pounds baby! Woo hoo! Though, to be fair, I think last week’s weigh-in was a bit bloated. Either way, I only have six pounds left to goal! 6 POUNDS LEFT!!!

Nutrition

This week has been a LOT of egg whites, and Kodiak pancakes with a powdered peanut butter drizzle and chocolate chips, for zero additional points.
The best way to lunch break.
Fruit with fat free whipped cream. You can have up to 10 Tbsp’s of this whipped cream for 1 point. Also, you can have 2 Tbsp’s for zero points. So I’ve been going with that option.
The picture’s not great, but this is what got me back on track. Egg whites, veggies, and salsa. Big bowl of zero points for breakfast.

I’ve been using a lot of my zero point tricks this week, and it’s been a bit of magic.

Exercise

I only worked out once this week, I walked for 45 minutes and got to a little over 13,000 steps. I am running a 5k this weekend, my first public 5k! I’ll keep you posted on how that goes. Next week I’m increase the exercising to really get this thing going.

I think I’m going to hit my goal weight next month! So excited!!!

      Thank you! I needed to restart my journey because I was going over my points every day. For some reason I’d convinced myself that I could still lose weight even while going over every day. Funny how your brain convinces you of things, huh? I’m so glad you are on this journey too, it’s super helpful to have a fellow blogger to keep me motivated!
