Plan With Me – January 14th – 20th [Video]

I recorded my second Plan With Me Video yesterday! If you aren’t familiar with these videos, I’ll break it down for you. Plan with me videos are essentially an opportunity for you to watch someone set up their planner for the upcoming week/month/year.

They’re a walk through trackers, dailies, weeklies, and other spreads. And I honestly don’t know what makes them so wonderful, but they are really addictive. It’s so funny, I always poke fun at folks who watch other people playing video games like Fortnight online, but here I am watching hours of other people setting up their planners!

Plan With Me - January 14th - 20th [Video]

I am addicted to these videos! I’ve been watching them since I started bullet journaling some time ago. Some of my favorites are:

Boho Berry
Chocolate Musings
Planning With Kay
Heather Kell
Caitlin’s Corner
The Petite Planner

Actually Boho Berry is the one who started me on my bullet journal journey, and her monthly planning introduced me to digital planning. I’m hoping to do a month in my journal series, but I don’t quite have the hang of making videos yet. Seriously, it’s taking me a while to get the flow of everything.

My Planner

Plan With Me - January 14th - 20th [Video]

Some of the things that I’ve been tracking this year are my habits:

My sleep and my moods: you can find this at minute 1:43 in the video below! And yes, that’s me tempting you to you watch my video.

The tracking has helped me stay on track (I know, it’s awkward, but there’s no other way to say it) with steps, remembering to take my birth control pill, journaling, and gratitude. I didn’t realize what a difference consistent tracking would make, but I’m telling you, it has made a world of difference!

I hope you enjoy watching as much as I enjoyed recording! Though the editing, is no fun. So hopefully you enjoy it waaaaay more than I enjoyed editing šŸ™‚

Do you watch Plan With Me videos? If not, what is your YouTube obsession?

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. I want to get into this planning/journaling thing especially now with homeschooling. I bought these amazing planners from Meijer a few months ago when beginning and it has helped keep me organized. But I don’t have fun stickers with mine. šŸ™
There is a bullet journal class next month at one of our local libraries and I am going to make an effort to go with a friend to inspire me. šŸ™‚

    Happy Monday, my friend!

It’s a slow process, but if you stick with it, bullet journaling is seriously rewarding. And the stickers make the whole thing fun for me, otherwise I get bogged down in just what I have to do. You should just get yourself a book of stickers from Happy Planner. I’m telling you, once you start, you won’t want to go back! I can’t wait to see how the class goes! Happy Monday to you too!

I love bullet journaling, I started back when it was just the simple method by Ryder Carroll. I get a little fancy with it, but nothing like the ones you see on Instagram or YouTube. I would not be able to function without my bujo, especially with the kids and Joe’s travel schedule!

My daughter-in-law has a bullet journal. Every time she’s over, she’s got her pens and markers with her. She even has her kids doing it. It’s a bit much for me, I keep everything in my phone.

I don’t know why, but I’m awful at keeping track of things in my phone. I think it’s because I have my work calendar on my phone, so that’s mostly what I use it for. When I put my personal stuff on there, I seem to lose it!

OMG I love Happy Planner! I have a million sticker books, and I love watching the plan with me videos. I was thinking about starting one but I don’t feel like I have the right equipment for it. I love to draw too so I do kind of what you do with the combination bullet journal/happy planner system.

I never heard of bullet journals before. I am more of a list maker and that does tend to keep me on track . Thanks so much for stopping by!

So this is embarrassing, I do not have a planner. I use to, I loved the ritual of planning. When I think about how things have gone for me in the blogging/Etsy world, it makes sense… I need a planner in my life again.

I’ve always had a planet of some sort but I’ve never been as organized as I am now with my current planner. Also I’m addicted to the stickers which makes planning super fun!
