Collection of Now, March Reflections

I’m not quite sure what happened last month. I feel like it snuck right by me. I didn’t blog as much, I didn’t take as many pictures, and I barely journaled. I’m guess it was caused by home life stuff which is luckily turning around. Sort of.

Anyhoo, this is how my March went.

Reading

These days, I am spending less time sitting and reading. When I take breaks from work, I’m mostly reading blogs like A Grace Full Life and Chocolate Musings. When I want to pick up a book and read, I’m reading On Mental Toughness. One of my coworkers suggested it.

When I’m taking breaks from work, or just lounging, I’m reading blogs, like A Grace Full Life and Chocolate Musings.

Listening To

I am absolutely obsessed with Lauren Ruth Ward. I am actually listening to her right now, and have been on a loop for days. Watch this video! It makes me cry every time!

Crafting

In March my Happy Planner was the main crafting outlet for me.

I finally broke down and bought a Cricut, and I’m hoping to get my sticker shop up and running next week!

I also started knitting a scarf. It should be finished juuuuuust about when the cold weather has left. 🙂

Posting

I only posted three times in March, which was substantially less then January (13) and February (11).

Goals for April

I’d like to open my sticker shop this month.

I’d like to post here, and on Instagram three times a week, and post on YouTube once a week.

I’l like to finish a book, I used to finish a book each time I traveled!

I’d like to get songs up on my music YouTube channel. More to come on that one.

What was the best thing you did in March? What is one of your goals for April?

I’mI linking up with See You In A Poridge.

Hey Ani! Thanks for the mention. I LOVE this idea and it’s super motivating to post a summary, it makes me think about my goals for the coming month and what I did last month too. I’m excited to see what you do with your sticker shop! I haven’t broken down to buy a Cricut yet….I’m making myself save for it.

My goals are to post 2x per week on my blog (which I feel like I’m finally making some headway), every day on Instagram & finish one book because #struggles. I’m working on a content calendar and planning in advance so I have a written commitment and it’s something tangible I can see.

Thank you Tricia! The Cricut has been quite the challenge, but after some YouTube research, and a helping hand from my brother, I finally understand how to use it! I made a practice sheet, and it was so cool to see my own kiss cut stickers! And honestly, you should get one, cause I would buy your sticker sheets!

Crazy thing about your blog, I missed about five posts because they didn’t show up on my Feedly feed. I was about to reach out to you, to see if you were OK, and when I went to your site I realized it was a miss on my end. I added you to my feed again and now I’m getting the right notifications, thank goodness! I’m so excited to see more of your content!!

A lovely post – Crafting isn’t something I have tried before, my creative outlet is photographic that’s for sure and art, but I can see the appeal 🙂

Thank you Laura! Do you photograph the pics for your site? They are stunning! What kind of art do you like?

I found my Cricut had quite the learning curve but once I got the hang of it; I really loved it. I still don’t think I’ve realized all it can do but I try new projects every now and then. Thanks for sharing with us on the Virtual Refrigerator.

Holy moly, you’re not kidding! I’ve had the thing set up for a week, and JUST got it to work this weekend. Unfortunately, I had the wrong paper, so I’m stuck again. But I am feeling way more confident, now that I know how it works. YouTube has been my friend!

I’m looking forward to having a finished project for your next Virtual Refrigerator link up!

Thank you! The yarn is super soft, and I am legit excited to wear it. The only problem is that I’m a pretty slow knitter and I know it won’t be done before it’s too warm to wear it. I’m tempted to wrap it up as a Winter gift to myself!

good luck with your april goals! i’d like to post on my blog more often but life keeps getting in the way. travelling is when i read the most so hopefully you get to finish a book!

Thank you Kristen! I definitely get the time crunch for posting. I always aim for three a week, but I can’t always get there. When I don’t travel more than two weeks a month, I get reading done. So I’m feeling hopeful about this week. Do you have certain things that you like to read when you travel? Or is it whatever’s on your list?
